Maybe I missed it on GJ. I spotted a new version of the 915 (14 - 15" ) needle nose. It is in the Master Needle Nose set. Not sure if it is a real set or a seller assembled set? 915CF instead of 915CP. Has the flat style handles / shaft of the rest of the line such as 911CF. Can't find it separate ............. yet.

Reread description. It says a custom assembled set. In any case that is the only thing I can find about them on the net.

I'll ask my dealer about them tomorrow if I can remember.
But take the LN47ACF for example. Far as I know, it's still not Snap On's website. Yet many of us, including me, have a pair.
So it could just be a new tool, especially since that's an owner assembled set.

I'm not up to date on the date codes, and Snap On has definitely not been immune to the supply chain non-sense.

A week or so ago I noticed these finally being available on the website & ordered up a pair... they arrived yesterday.

They're very nice; look to be 'every day' useful!

$63.75/copy.

Went back about an hour later for a second pair, but they were already backordered.

A few of the 915CF have appeared on Ebay all from one seller. I don't know what the story is on them in general .............. single batch, special order for a buyer, ????

The pair I got have the older slightly rough texture gray finish as opposed to the newer smooth finish. And the grips are not as fat as in the set picture above. So maybe the 915CF is not new as I thought in my first post? I don't know. They certainly seem to be few and far between sightings though.

New or used? I would like to purchase them from SO but, as has been mentioned, they are not listed on their site

I would call the pair I got old but unused. Enlarge my pic for surface condition. Some scratches. Teeth look new as far as I can tell. Grips are like new. Open close action is just right. YMMV

Thank you Seth. I am going to order one that the Ebay seller is offering as used-good condition since I can’t find any new offerings anywhere.

Just got off of the phone with SO Customer Service. The 915CF was sold for a short time and then became “restricted “ and is not currently offered for sale. When I asked why a pair of pliers would become “restricted “, the rep said one example might be due to quality issues.

Shame they aren't for sale off the truck etc, I'd buy a set right now they would be very handy.

Yet another one of Snap On's weird and wonderful decisions.

I haven't used my pair except to just play around with since I just got them, but outwardly the quality seems the same as other similar SO pliers. Time will tell.

Bought the last pair from the above ebay seller.

I feel like they'll be less useful than double jointed pliers since the handles open so damn wide.

They'll get polished and put away in the display drawer nonetheless.

The handles on the 915CF are narrower at the same jaw opening than the 915CP. At the half way length mark it is at least an inch less.
