It is hard for me to deal with a company that goes out of its way to discourage business. Their web site is a perfect example.
I've ordered from the site plenty, and have never had a problem.

I got the new catalog. 1300
Snap-On's website is a dream compared to MATCO and MAC especially
I enjoy paging through their catalogs while taking a dump. It really enables me to see what I need while being 100% relaxed

Do the Snap-On dealers give out these catalogs, or are they for sale? How do I go about getting the new catalog?
They sell them for 10x the cost of other tool maker catalogs, but supposedly the paper is better and last longer.
I agree that the new Snappy website *****, but it is still light years ahead of the other tool companies. I like the Wright catalog because you can download it as a PDF.
Let's not forget though, the Snappy paper catalog has had its own issues as well. Remember 10-15 years ago (maybe a little longer than that) when they took half the catalog and flipped it over? The hardline tools were "normal", but to view the specialty tools you had to flip the catalog over 180°. That was a dumb idea....similar to their website.
I always preferred catalogs, the OLD website actually worked. The new style website is for tablets and they so slow and built by sanford & son.
My dealer gave me the new catalog yesterday.
I was glad to see that they placed all the tools for each drive size together.
The color coded sections looked good at first.
While new (and improved?) it is getting to look and weigh like the phone
books of the past.
U can still use the old website. I forget how I always access it. I think from a part search on google maybe? I forget. It just happens

Soooo.... since the new catalog is out and since those of us who are second class customers and order off the SO Web site cannot get catalogs yet, are there any really neat new products that I might want to order before I can get my hands on a catalog? I'm mainly interested in ratchets, sockets, wrenches and screwdrivers.
Got mine in today!!
Damn it abvw beat me to it.

There's a 14.4v hackzall and 84 LED shoplight that didn't come up on the driver's system.
I have not seen any major changes in ratchet offering.
The hi performance ratcheting wrenches are listed and one new 0 offset one. But most of the wrench offering are the same.
They still listed transfer punches but are discontinued if you try to purchase.
The new welding bench is in catalog and I think more welding stuff.
I went through the catalog last night it does not seem to have many new products, there seems to be more space in picture layout but not such a difference in numbers of products.
I find the best part of the truck is the new discontinued stock, I just got 3/8 drive 6pt universal in 7/8, 15/16 and 1 inch they have not been listed in a catalog for a number of years.
Just called Snap on asking for one...he said they won't be able to send them to the general public for about another month. But my driver should give me one.

It's as if all the tool companies got together and decided they'd all have websites that are helpfull as herpes and useless as man *****.

I wish they'd leave the catalog be and fix that useless, broke **** website.
The only new rather I know of is a comfort grip fll80
Don't forget SK, they just link you to a PDF of the catalog. lol
