The Snap-on truck just stopped by with new hard handles screw driver sets. I just had to add to the collection.

Can you tell me the part numbers on those sets? My dealer doesn't know they are available. Also, are they aailable in black handles, not that it matters but I like the black handle better, it doesn't look as dirty.

I got a green and red today. Dealer's puzzled why I bought three already. The first green set I sold on feebay within hours of listing. Some people can't get them off the truck I guess.

I was able to pull up green, orange, and red, on the website but couldn't find black.

Only green, orange, and red are available. No black, no stubbies.

SDDX70AR - Red
SDDX70AO - Orange
SDDX70AG - Green

For some reasons, I don't like the racing logo as much as the old hard handle with just the USA or part number underneath.

they could have easily added stubbies to the set.

engineers have too much time on their hands these days. its mind boggling to see that they still do not sell a complete set of screwdrivers.

look at the instinct sets, they include stubbies but no #3 phillips driver? wth

I would rather see "Made in China" stamped on them... That you, everyone would have something to gripe about on Thanksgiving day, other than their favorite team loosing..

I thought Snap On claimed that they had gotten rid of the tooling to make these handles? I want a set in red

they are part of the line up now. enough dealers and enough of the guys here voiced their opinion enough times that Snap On heard the word.
Enjoy!

How long until they 'hear the word' about putting the 'Made in USA' stamp back on their stuff?

Are the pick sets available or will they?

I hope they got the full size pick sets. I just bought another pick in the soft instinct, but would go for a full set of the reg. sized. My driver busted out a bunch of mini torx and picks that he had hiding in his garage. Most of it has sold pretty quick.

Any updates on these guys? How do you like them and how do they look compared to the vintage and Williams versions? :)
Snap-On Dealers:
How are these selling? How are they being received and how are your customers reacting to these reintroduced screwdrivers... do you think if they are well received they will roll out other hard handle based tools again?

i just sell the stubbys pictured above. they are as close as I can get to the old stuff.

I am sold out and i think there are a few sets left in stock over all.
60 red sets
2 orange
69 green
that is in all of snap on as of noon today. I bet that most are gone or waiting to be boxed up.
they went fast and i bet it will be a month or 3 before they re-appear.
I need more but will have to wait.
