In this case I think Spock is probably wrong.

Your knowledge of military buttplugs is disturbing, to say the least. Don't ask, don't tell, dude!(Haha! They look like a small army of buttplugs!)

Looks like im gonna have to get a few orange ones to put on some old Cmans with 5/16 hex shanks anyone got a part # for an orange handle that big?

Blasphemy!
Perhaps SO took the request for hard handles a little literally?
Bringing back just the handles and not tools with hard handles seems kinda weird...
Oh, that would be a CLASSIC gift for your dealer. Epic even. Just don't make it out of a stubby! For a joke, i'm going to make my friend a Snap-on Strap-on!
Maybe i should give it to my dealer, more appropriate.

Did you have Luke when down in Town Hill?

From a marketing perspective, they can't be seen to be taking a step backwards in their technology. The instinct drivers are made to fit the hand better, be more comfortable and provide better grip. If they cut them and bring the hard handles back they're basically saying they were wrong.
Either way, i'm not complaining!
I think we should put this down to a GJ effort!
(Okay, so it probably wasn't us, but that doesn't matter!)
I for one, am not going to hunt down shanks and new handles for my old favorite screwdrivers, Snap-on will either kill the handles or make drivers complete again, as a "classic" line.................that is my bet. Make it easy to buy them again........................I think this is a test, once they milked the hard handle affectionados for the separate prices, they will bring them back. Just a hunch!
Luke was getting lunch one day at a Store I was doing some service at. Didn't know me from adam, took the time to replace a #2 phillips for me so I bought some stuff. When the transaction was over I told him I had known his dad and grandfather for more than 20 years. Seems like a decent guy to me and if I see him stopped somewhere I'll be buying some bits or whatever from himBy the time Luke was on the scene, I had already bid Snap-on farwell, 20 years of dealer B.S. was enough. The Cornwell guy was who I went to. Neal Byron exceeds any mobile tool dealer I ever had, he gets the business. I heard Luke is ok, just typical Snap-on snobby,LOL...........that is the word on the street, not my opinion.
Then there is Frank from Blue Hill..............................![]()

the snap on shaft will have an S stamped on it.
Back to the point...how do we take advantage of these handles...how does one re-handle a shaft?
Pot of boiling water, or what?
Problems with shafts going in crooked?
