My Snap On IM5100 is finally getting weak. I bought used it at a garage sale 15 years ago for about $15, and used the **** out of it. Always oiled it before each use. Today it was struggling to remove some fasteners that were torqued to 270, so I knew it was about time. I hope my new MG725 holds up as well.

My dealer told me they were available unmuffled. The muffler takes a small amount of power away. I tried one, dang it was loud. I got the muffled one.

So are you going to rebuild your old one?
Should be good as new once rebuilt.

Not at all questioning your justification to purchase a new gun. Congrats on the new 725
