New Snap-On "Iqon" tool boxes

They just don't know any better.

Why in the hell would I, a DIYer, spend $4000 on a tool box for home use, when a $400 HF tool box will work just fine. I am lucky if I open a drawer once a month to pull out a wrench or screwdriver. Just does not make economic sense to me.

Picked up one to park next to my Mill. Holds all my tooling and instrumentation.

Dealer made me a hell of a deal on it and that brings me up to an even half dozen Snappy boxes in the shop.

Saw one today. Timely update on the classic series, drawers feel pretty stout, three drawers is nice and the organizer and power drawers are pretty nice. It’s a serious contender for stepping up to a mid level box but not quite ready for an Epiq. The depth is very nice. Personally I would be talking to my dealer now about it if I wasn’t going aiming to get into a service truck in the near future. I think he’d make me a decent deal if I traded in my 40” single bay box on it

My dealer also had a beautiful Epiq on board in a nice darker blue

I like those boxes - by the way the GMC is AWESOME!
