That's weird I bought two one for 40.69 and another for 41.69. Some of you are right according on what kind of mood he's in to what he accepts or what bill is due at the moment. Hope this helps.

Submitted an offer for 2 @ 35 last night and it was accepted this morning (this was after he auto declined 2 @ 36 on the same auction the previous day). I just saw he listed another 10.

I just bid $87 for two and was declined. Also went $36 for one and got declined.

He also added $1 to the shipping cost.

Forget about the coin... How does he have so many of these hammers? Does he make them in his backyard or something?

Make sure you look at the right listing... He has 2. One for bidding, the other for straight purchase/offer.

Tried like 7-8 times at $35 and he kept declining. Tried again today and he took it.
I guess you just gotta keep trying :)

Yes I think 35 is the magic # although I got mine for a buck less. By his location being where Snap on home is, I believe him to be an employee there. Either that or he has some sort of discounts on seconds. Either way I am happy to get a hammer at less than 50% cost with not having to pay any taxes either!

I offered him $35 x2 yesterday and he accepted it.

Very odd he declined $35 and counter offered $40. I sent him a message after the auction was over saying I would take $100 shipped x2 and he never got back to me. Saved a couple of bucks.

Got mine in the mail, looks like they've been sitting a while but it's a hammer. No complaints from me.

:lol_hitti I thought I was done with this flaky guy, but just went back after hearing about wire crimpers. I just won an offer for two gasket scrapers for $16.73 ea + $13 shipping on the pair. Not too bad.
