A few weeks ago I took proud delivery of a new snap on top box that matches my roll around. Both the top and bottom each have 1 lock. Not that it's the biggest deal in the world, but the locks do not take the same keys. Is it possible to re-key 1 or both of the locks to match? Or is it best and easiest to order a K2LA 2 lock, 2 key package when the snap on man returns on Friday?

Or should I shut my pie hole and deal with having 2 different keys? :lol_hitti

Two different keys are not always a bad thing. I have also seen multiple key setups, where someone leaves the keys to other boxes, in one drawer, and only carries that key (not as secure).

That said, look at the locks. There should be a number on the front of it. Match that number and match the keys (should have to order only one lock, or get a locksmith to rekey).

I would assume your Snap-On dealer could order you a new matched key tumbler for your box; or contact Snap-On customer service from their website. Maybe possible for a local lock smith to match the keys as well!

It's easy to pop out the tumbler, when you go to lock it, push in and keep turning it. I found out by accident one day and thought I broke it.

Snap-On lock sets are only $19 a piece, and you can order a tumbler by key number from your dealer. Or he may swap you a matched set for your cores and keys.
