I recently purchased hanson socket trays to replace the craftsmans that I had. After organizing I found that getting by without 1/2" deep wells could happen no more. Ordered these from tooltopia and showed up next day. Its a good day in Indiana.

The hanson trays are great also I went from three drawers to two. Now I have an empty drawer, but not for long.

Yeah they great. I suppose I should have put they were SK in the original post, for those who can't pick out the manufacturer from the picture. And regardless what others may say, SK makes a great tool. From what I have read most complaints were about warranty claims. I wouldn't know because none of my SK ever breaks.:bounce:

Very nice set up and collection . . . I am actually going the reverse as you, from Hansens, to socket rails . . .

My problem is that I have quite a few sets of sockets that are not covered in the Hansen trays so that always leaves 2-3 orfin sockets laying around with no set place . . .

Can't have that! So decided to use socket rails and fabricate a holder for all of them when I am all done . . . :bounce:

You may look at ernst mfg. They have a set that hold four rails at once. It may take a few but they look pretty good.

Can't beat SK for the price. Warranty how ever can be hit or miss. I have a similar set to the standard 1/2 deeps, just in 12pt. I think you will be very happy, I have known people to have SK sockets that are over 40 years old an in good shape.

i have a set of SK wrenches and sockets that my dad bought somewhere back around 1957 or so. most of them are still the originals, only ones that have broken took some serious effort and abuse.
ive been finding a lot of used, nearly new SK sockets in my aimless wanderings. i'm wondering if it's because a lot of old school auto parts stores used to stock them, and have gone out of business ?
any thoughts ?

It does make me wonder when you see lots of socket on ebay or other places that are NOS. I would like to know where people find these lots. I know at one time many mom and pop parts stores carried them. You don't see them around like you used to, but it could be because of some of the problems that SK has been having. I lost the local dealer who warrantied my tools, still carries them but doesn't warranty them.

All my chrome sockets are SK. Best price/performance hands down. And your box looks much better with the Hanson trays!
