Hello everyone...
Ray here from Village Mills, TX. Don't ask where that is 'cause you can't get here from there...nor would you want to.
Just found this forum, and just in time I might add. I just poured a 40x40 slab for my 16' metal building. They start building in two weeks. Stuck a stick in the architectural committee's collective a**es by building this thing, GOOD!!!!...its 30' off the #11 fairway! They let one of the board of director's build one by the #13 green, then shut down any further metal buildings on the golfcourse. Took me a year, but they finally saw it my way, once they realized if we went to court (and I did file) that they would end up paying for the building and make me rich for discriminating against me but letting the director build his. The Billy Greenteeth's in Tyler County's jury pool would have loved dealing with their high and mighty attitudes. Heck, I could have done the closing arguement myself...SCORE ONE FOR ALL OF US!!! Any building committee members or sympathetic property owner association types on this forum...BITE ME!
I feel better now...anyway, it'll be for storing my rolling stock, my shop, ultimately my "man-cave", with pooltable, HD TV and beer on tap (bathroom in SE corner, of course).
AS GOD AS MY WITNESS, my wife, REICHSFUHRER ROBIN, shall have no input in this matter. Don't tell her I said that. Please help me to do this thing right...the first time. Your input is requested, valued and appreciated. THANKS IN ADVANCE! Ray
