New Table Saw

So I ordered a new Ridgid Hybrid Table Saw from Hime Depot and when it came in the box was destroyed. So everything was there and didn’t looked damaged so I said I’d take it anyway. They did give me a 20% discount because of the box damage . Well today I was going to put it together and when I pulled the metal wings that bolt to the cast iron top and they have bubbling under the coating witch I assume is rust.. my question is do I keep it or take it back? Is it something I could just sand down and repaint??

It depends on how much it will bug you, vs saving the 20%. I would probably sand enough to remove the bubbles, and then wax all of the exposed metal surfaces (sanded area and cast top) to keep rust under control.
