I was looking for a new tool chest with a bit more room to replace my Proto, and through some digging decided to give the Tekton a shot. Decided on the 11 draw dual bank, 48" wide model with the wooden top. I had been cross shopping some of the Harbor Freight boxes, but couldn't find something that hit all the features I wanted as far as locking system, size, and drawer options. Plus, the Tekton is made in Canada.

I ordered on Sunday evening and it was delivered to VA by Wednesday afternoon which was pretty impressive. It fit great in my space, and there is so much room since it's 6" wider and 10" deeper than my current box. The locking latches work great, and the drawers roll very smoothly. I’m really happy with this purchase.

Nice!
Great box IMHO.
Quite a step up if you were first looking at HF.

Welcome to the Journal!!! It's all downhill now. Congratulations on your new box!!! Those Rosseau made Tekton boxes are outstanding!!! their German made casters are the smoothest I've used. I have a first gen 48 in wide model I use daily moving it from one end of the shop to another. The drawer carriage system is quite strong. Definitely a great purchase!!!

I looked at one of these prior to buying my new cart. They look like a great tool box.

Any pictures of the drawers?

Wow, that's an odd cross-shop. Those Rosseau-built Tekton boxes are absolutely top notch, way better than anything at HF. Congrats!

Yeah I had the HF nearby and liked their design for the most part, but didn't love them. I had to do a bit of research on the Tekton one, didn't seriously consider them at first. The more I dug into it the more I liked it, and realized the quality. The drawer lock system is great and they open so smoothly.

I would hope so, they run at least 4x the price or more than similar HF offerings, approaching Snap On territory.
