First off, I just want you all to know this is one of the most kick @ss sites I have come across. I stumbled upon it while trying to get some ideas for my 2 car garage buildout I just started. I would also like you to know you have probably increased the cost of this buildout by $5k... and I have probably spent 40 hrs on here in the last two weeks, getting ideas and drooling.

I think I will start a post for the buildout, but I just wanted to say hey to everyone and let you know there is a new member here that is just as crazy about garages as all of you.

Howdy! We lived in Spring (spring cypress/249) for a while, just to the south of you. What kind of building restrictions are you working under in that area? We looked at housing there back in about 1992. Nice area but tightly controlled. Like Kingwood.

I grew up outside of San Angelo, and alot of my family is up around you, Abilene/Albany area. My wife and I moved to the big city about 8 yrs ago and ended up here in the Woodlands because it was out of the city.. Your right about restrictions, especially when you get into building additional structures on your property. I will be pulling my own permits, and hopefully I won't get myself into too much trouble.
