New to AZ---Swamp cooler???

I'm new to AZ (leaving the army) and am not sure the best way to do things. I am about to purchase my first house and daydreaming about my very frist garage (the only room the wife will let me have all to my own) and there is no cooling in there. Does anyone know if I put a swamp cooler in there if it will put too much moisture in the air, or should i spring for an A/C.

What size is the garage. Most 1 or two car garages can be cooled with a window unit.

just a small, and i do mean small two car, but the problem is theres no windows, so i'm gonna have to cut a hole in the wall I guess.

Look into a product called "A Cool Door". It's the off season, and you may be able to cut a deal. It takes a little more work to install, but it's worth it.

It works great! It gets used about 8 months out of the year.
