I've run across some of the tool threads in web searches before. I'm finally ready to buy a house and therefore a garage.
Does anyone have advice on features to ensure are included in a garage? I'm moving to Beaverton, OR (suburbs, probably a 25+ year old house in my price range) with no family. Unfortunately I think it is illegal for me to buy an industrial unit for living which would be my first choice, so I am looking mostly at houses with attached two car garages.
I am a hobby machinist and maintain my vehicle myself, which drives my desire for a work space. I would like to purchase a knee mill and I don't think the living room floor would support it.
