Hi, I'm new to the forum but have read posts here over the course of time. What prompted me to make an account was the fact that I've been searching for a house to buy in SoCal and am trading buying a house with a shop already vs. building my own shop. It's really difficult to find a property that meets all of my expectations AND has a shop. Most properties here are horse properties so I've considered converting a horse barn to a shop, but a lot would be involved and most horse barns here look a bit flimsy.
Anyway, I'm hoping to gain some advice from you folks and avoid pitfalls along the way.
