Here are a few of the basement goodies!! Also added a board next to panel box for satellite box and internet and phone box to be installed!! Notice the conduit spare i stubbed out in the basement for this prior to the home being built . Buried that sucker near the underground power service over 450 feet but love that everything is under ground ...

Mind you all of the basement will be finished with aged barn boards and metal rustic roofing I acquired from a barn near my home that was given to me. All I have to do is tear it down for them and I get all the materials I want. As they say one mans junk is another mans treasure. Outside work to begin in spring and basement winter project no rush just wanna make it right. I will continue to update frequently after internet is installed early this week. Stay tuned everyone.. GARAGE Is next!!!

I don't see anything wrong with putting the dish out there. I don't blame you for not wanting to put holes in your roof or siding, besides it sorta fits in with the rest of the "utility theme" in that area of the yard. :D

Brando: i couldn't figure out why you wanted the extra railings on your basement's stairs and then i saw your four legged friend at the top of the basement's door looking down. GREAT SAFETY IDEA SIR.

loving all the improvements and the dish location is a classic. i bet some members mount them on their extra tractor or truck, but haven't seen a sign mounted one yet.

BRANDO: i'm sure you've thought of this, but make sure to run all your lines for your compressor, more electrical and lighting if you need to and that sort of stuff before you get all your shelving, benches and machines in place.

Bare with me guys I'm new to this construction stuff and wood for that matter !!!! First off, phenomenal home!

Enjoyed reading you ventures of building a home. Reminded me of 15 years ago this March when my "to be" wife then and I built our home, and enjoyed the progress and excitement. The closet looks great, and will serve its purpose well for a compressor. Looking forward to seeing the continual progress with the garage.
