Hi guys,

Am a new homeowner.

Bought in November. From the Boston area.

Looking forward to getting some info and picking some brains.

Am 32. Growing up, my dad never really showed me how to do anything around the house, his fix it guide was the yellow pages, lol. So, I'm a little behind the curve. Anyways, will post pics where I can, and have some questions already!

Welcome. there's lots of smart members here. That's unfortunate your dad didn't work with you on stuff. I am the handyman I am today because of my dad. He's the guy the whole area came to when they needed something fixed.

Welcome. My dad was a suit and did little around the house. Me, on the other hand was taking bikes apart when I was 10. You either are or aren't handy.

This is a great place to get advice if you can wade through the chaff.
