Hey all, I'm new to the forums, I do turn wrenches professionally for a living. Debating on upgrading to a new toolbox wanted to pick someone's brain here to see what they think... I have a matco 4s triple bay which i bought used and basically full and wanting to get a snap on epiq. My dealer has some decent prices at the moment with rebates and other promos at the moment. Would i lose storage space getting a 68 epiq? matcos drawer are less deeper than the epiq about 5 inches. Has anyone owned both of these toolboxes? what do y'all think?

Unfortunately, I have no knowledge of either of those boxes; in my retirement workshop I am pleased to own a US General from Harbor Freight. My days of professional wrench pulling have been over for a few years.

The cubic inches of storage are in the specifications of all of the toolboxes I’ve seen.
Matco website says a new 4 S triple bay has 30,380 cubic inches of storage space.
Snap on website says that an Epic 68 has 45,147 cubic inches of storage space.
Of course, there are other considerations besides just the total cubic inches of space such as drawer arrangement, but it’s clear that the SO box is way bigger. (It also retails for over $13,000)

Greetings all, from Cincy, Ohio here. I did see that at the matco website.... on snap on's website epiq's 68" cubic inches is at 45,512 which is a big difference from what matco is. It's a lot of room, and I wasn't sure how accurate that number is what they are actually claiming it to be. I was at the truck today looking at the 68 with the power and speed drawer and wasn't sure if it all my tools would fit. Would be very stupid to spend this money and not even have enough room for them.
