My name is Joshua Ferguson, I am the Grandson of William H. Ferguson (1900-1963) from Porter-Ferguson and before that Trimo-Ferguson in Massachusetts . I am trying to learn as much as I can about my Grandpa and his tools.

Here is an alignment punch I found last April. I picked it up because the name was unfamiliar to me. If you would like me to send it to you I would be happy to do so for the cost of the shipping. I'm sure it would mean more to you than it does to me.

Lugz,

My Grandpa was a Vice-President for H.K. Porter. They created a Porter-Ferguson automotive body tooling division after he left Trimont. Sadly he died April 22, 1963. He was born on March 4, 1900.
My Uncle Ray Ferguson also worked for H.K. Porter. Sadly he died two years later on January 24, 1965. Uncle Ray had one patent for tooling as an inventor with H.K. Porter.
So far I've found 13 of my Grandpa's patents.
They were members of the Hand Tools Institute.

I for one would have loved very much to have had the chance to interview your Grandfather, as I am sure the stories that he could have told about the tool company would be have been priceless.

Thank you so much for sharing your stories and I do hope you stick around and learn some new stories yet to be told by all of are members in the new year.
