Hey,
New to the GJ website. I was referred from a friend and looking forward to getting some advice on my upcoming projects. Closing on my house towards the end of May and will first be doing a garage floor epoxy (Epoxy-Coat) and eventually a shed build. Have a baby on the way (due in september) so hopefully I can get these done before then as Im sure I wont have much time after.. Just going to thank everyone in advance as Im sure I will have some questions..

Thanks for the welcomes!

I can't wait to get started on my garage. I been throwing around epoxy flake color schemes and wall colors. Thinking of going with a dark gray base with black , light gray, and blue flake. Thinking of doing light gray walls to keep it brght inside. Plan on doing a corner workbench with some cabinets . Eventually I want to get a sink inside too. Lots of ideas, just need to turn them to realities.

One major thing I want to do and really the only thing I'm unsure of doing is installing a door on the back of the garage. I can either put some steps up to the top of the brick foundation and put the door there ( about 2-2.5 feet high), or knock some bricks out and frame in a door. Ground level.

This is my second home and I never did a project that big. Not sure how hard it would be to take the bricks out or if I'm even able too structure wise. I can cut wood pretty good but I'm not engineer when it comes to structure.

I will post pictures once we close (May 23rd)

Garage is 23'x23' two single car doors.
Hoping it's already insulated. The walls are finished with drywall.
Concrete floors with minimal stains.

Hope to have most of this done before the HOT NC summer hits. Then I'll be asking y'all about air conditioners for garages.
