Hello to everyone who likes old tools.
Last week I got a Reed No. 1C vice and was looking around for information. Hands down, the Garage Journal seemed to have the most knowledge base I could find, so I signed up.
I haven't started working on it yet but I have been able to determine it is a combo machine and pipe vice, 3 1/4" wide jaws and two swivel clamps. Most of the vises I have have seen have Patent numbers. Mine has Pat Pending. I have tried to upload the only picture I have so far but am having trouble getting the file size down small enough to post.
Will keep working on it and will provide more when I can.
