I purchased a new to me Kellogg American 321 TV compressor this weekend for $300. As I was looking it over I noticed that the intercooler line had been rubbing against the flywheel and it has a small hole in it.

I assume that it’s a bad idea to try and patch it due to the pressure involved honestly I’m not sure how I would try and fix it if I could. I found the part online here https://mastertoolrepair.com/interc...-49688.html?osCsid=i2sc9lr0fg3f5jb90d05dt3grm but I wanted to double check before spending $100 on it.

The intercooler should be copper, so solder her up. If the hole is too big, cut and solder in a coupling. Should be fairly straight forward. You're not dealing with more than 175 psi, so no worries...and if you are of the 'worry-wart' sort then silver solder it.
