I'd been wanting a 4 post for storage since I already have a 2 post for maintenance. Took me well over a year of CL scouring to find a nice 4 post that wasn't beat up. Finally scored a Rotary SM7 (a REAL Rotary, not a Revolution, Forward, etc.) that looked like it had almost no use at all. Found it for sale about 5 miles from my house in a private residence. Came with some great extras: 4 center plates to make it a solid deck and 2 jack trays. I feel like I got an amazing deal at $1500. I believe new it was $4-5k but maybe someone can chime in who knows.

So yesterday broke it down, hauled it to my house, set it back up. Had someone who knew what they were doing helping me, was a great experience to see how it was done w/very little manual lifting. I believe it's a true skill. Anyway, this one is the extended length and height, I can walk under without ducking, I think the walk under height is 76". Absolutely loving it so far :rocker:

Whats that lever with the ball handle on the left post at the top for?
Looks like a mechanical release lever? Do the SM7's use a mechanical release like the cheaper import light weight lifts-no air release?
