New (to me) air compressor w/ questions

I've been lerking on this site for several months.

I went to an auction today and came home with a Craftsman 30gal 6hp vertical compressor. The model # is 919.165140.

Does anyone know where to get an owner's manual for this? I checked sears website but they don't stock the manual for this one any longer.

This is the first air compressor I've owned. Hopefully, it is a good one. I picked it up for $220.

Can someone school me on running air lines throughout my garage? What type of tubing/piping should I go with. How do I do the water drain valves, etc?

Do some searches for topics such as air lines, air system, air piping, etc. you will get lots of threads.

If you have a typical two car garage and the typical portable compressor, and plan on occasional air use, unless you plan on putting the compressor somewhere else, such as a basement, and piping it to the garage, you will be better off with a hose.
