So I just picked this bottom box up at an auction, it's a KRA-379A It came with what I think is a Mac top box, I will post a picture of it later tonight. What I am wondering is if the top box in the pictures which is a KRA-59C That I bought several years ago at a farm auction is from the same era as the 379A They seem to be the same style and are a good match in my opinion.

Yes, they're from the same era. Junk-man nailed it. I have a KRA 380 with the same topper as yours. Mine aren't new or pretty and frankly getting a little small, but they're holding up well even after all these years. I'd like to see pictures of the Mac toppper.

You have a nice looking stack there and you might want to cross-post over in the vintage toolbox thread. Thanks for showing us your pictures

Here is the top box that was with the bottom snap on, I'm guessing Mac but not sure.

I paid $225 for this and the bottom full of tools and junk. The snap on top box If I remember right I gave $125 for.

"Mac" top kind of reminds me of a craftsman with the side handles and indents on either side of the lock, but its likely a waterloo as bb max said.
