New to me cantilever tool box

This is the my new tool box. Its made before 1990 in Brasov Romania. I payed 40$ including shipping for the box and the tools. What do you guys think and how can i restore it???

$40 is a great deal! maybe think about a way to sand it down, or sandblast the rust and stuff off. What make is it? out of curiosity.

Its made in Romania by the IUS factory now owned by the MOB Gruop France. Its called Automotive tool box althought it may not have all the original contents.

Hello i cleaned the box with wd-40 and aranged the tools a bit.
I atatched pictures of the box and the tools in it.
Do you think i should repaint it or leave as is.
I must add that i work from this box and a 108 chinees socket set.
Any ideeas of how to organise it??
