I've been searching CL for a while for my first drill press. Finally ended up scoring this Delta DP220 from a friend. From the serial number it appears to be a 1946 model. Everything appears to be in working order and, other than a little rust, in pretty good shape. Even the table has few marks on it. Runs smoothly although I do not have a dial indicator to check the actual runout.
I need to get a key for the chuck. Are all keys the same or is there a specific size I need.
Also need a vise. Any suggestions on a decent one for a reasonable price?
Very excited to put it to work. Thanks for the help.
