Hello everyone, New to the forum, and to having my own garage! I am in the process of purchasing my first house and we should close late may. I am wanting to get things together to spruce up the garage so I can do it before moving all my tools in.

here are the pics. It is sort of a strange setup. It was originally a 2 car detached garage that the previous owner connected to the house, but left both exterior walls intact.

The 2 car.

this is the doorway in to the other section.

and this is the single car spot.

Sorry for the picture quality. My father tool them and photography isnt his strong suite.

First on the list is to get the floor mudjacked and level. I am thinking I am going to checkerboard VCT (orange/black) the smaller garage as no actual work will get one in there. Just parking bikes and hanging out. In the 2 car I am wanting to 2 tone black/orange the wall and also paint the cabinet doors orange with the frames black. I am stuck on what to do with the floor. I really like the look of the Epoxy floors, but I build bikes as a hobby so there is a lot of welding/cutting etc taking place and I am not sure how it will hold up.

What do you think?

Thanks,
Justin.

Great possibilites! Many guys don't have such a 'leg-up' to a neat car barn. I park on a slab but enjoy the seeing others blessed!

Great starting point. Those cabinets and bench look pretty sturdy, they'll clean up real nice with some paint.
