New to me sun dist tester

Just grabbed this to work on my 57. I hope it is all there enough to use if not I will part it out. Apparently it is from the 40’s or so so if it does work it will be a win for me.

Cool! that looks like an oldie. More photos would be fun to see, once it's dusted off. Hopefully you can get it working. Mine (1973 model 404) needed new capacitors and now it's working well. There's a guy in Michigan that specializes in Sun testers. He sold me the capacitor kit.

Mintgrun, I emailed the gentleman in Michigan and he thinks it is a Type O and I found a thread here that has pics of almost the same exact machine. He does not have any parts for that model so I will see what I get when I pick it up this weekend and get it home and I will take more pics as well. I hope I can get it to work if not then I will part it out.

Got some more info. Looks like I have two different machines (boy can I pick's). But they both look complete so will try and get them running. The top part 'the brains' apparently were made in 46, don't know about the bottom half. It even came with some tech data from 69/53!
