Just had to share this get with other like minded Tool Nuts. One of my dealerships decided to replace a used and in need of minor attention but still serviceable tire changer. I was in the right place and at the right time and snapped it up. Used my 2 post lift to get it out of the pickup. The wheels are temporary until I get it cleaned and tuned up and a fresh coat of paint on it. I think it is going to be handy for flipping track tires on the rims after a track weekend. Now all need is a balancer... :bounce:

The tire machine itself. On a local Porsche/ track rat board I posted a picture of a water cooler I was selling and the tire machine was prominently in the background. I got a bunch of "friends" that seem to call and stop by when they have something that needs welding or wrenching. 99.99% of the time I don't mind a bit and 75% of them are good friends too but most are race track rats like me and as such much of life revolves around tires and getting more life out of them. I had visions of flipping tires on rims the night before every track weekend.

Oh yeah I know what you mean. When I installed my lift I had a hard time making my wife understand that you don't mention that I have a lift in passing to her friends, all I need is 20 or so guys asking to borrow my lift to do an oil change or rotate their tires....

The less people know the better....

Enjoy!
