This found its way into my garage the other day. Courtesy of my wife.

I agree, she is a keeper. My wife says I need another tool box but who am I to argue.
I will even let her pick it out as long as it is big enough.

The Snap-On box was $50 and the bigger Waterloo was $40. The 27 drawer unit was $20. I have seven of the Simplicity sewing pattern cases. They are a well made as any toolbox and cost about $40-$50. I paid $100 for a five drawer Simplicity. The drawer slides are roller bearings. The last Simplicity I bought has the safety feature of one drawer open at a time feature.
I got the blue ATLAS cabinet as part of a deal for a Snap-On shop cart. the grey steel 7 drawer cabinets were original for double rows of information cards. These two cabinets are very well built and also have roller slides. I paid too much at $175 each.

I needed a little post Christmas therapy after the extended family left. fo I went to Craigslist for help, just a little feel good, nothing that needs a following prescription. There it was, just what I needed. The drive in the blinding snow and the unplowed side streets added to the moment. $10 for the DURHAM box and $4 for Diesel fuel and I feel better. I will add this to the others.

Why not in front of electrical panel? It's tool box that's on casters, out of the way in seconds if access is needed. I know there are restrictions by code on obstructing access to an electrical panel, but hen there is real life too.

This is kind of like saying you can't park a car in in the garage because it prevents access to the panel :) Probably faster to move a tool box than a car.

This is not a permanent obstruction and there is zero danger of exposure to live circuits unless you are working on the panel - which would logically cause you to move the toolbox.

I bought this tool box for $25.00. It was strait but all scratched up. I had it powder coated and found some new handles for it. Looks great now. I use it for the vintage tools I bought but never use. LOL
