Haven't been on here in a while, but since I was on here last, I have acquired a 5-drawer HF cart and a need for a set of both SAE and metric tools. I have a good assortment of Craftsman Metrics at my vacation home, but need a set of SAE and metrics at my other home. Not a large set, but enough to handle most jobs, home and auto. Been thinking about all USA Craftsman or Snap-on, a few at a time. What say you guys? What do I need.

May be building a hot rod in the near future, so take that into consideration. Thanks.

All of my home wrenches are GearWrench plus a few Kobalt odd sizes that I had to buy as singles. My 1/4 and 3/8” ratchets and socket are GearWrench, 1/2” drive is all Pittsburgh Pro from Harbor Freight.

Why limit yourself to just one brand? There are a load of brands out there all selling great stuff at different price points.
