I have this big ole new toolbox that I need to fill up so I asked a friend of mine if he had any sockets he wanted to part with. He spent a couple decades turning wrenches and I figured he might have some stuff laying around in boxes that he wasn't using now that he's semi-retired. Below are pictures of what I got. I still need to fill in some gaps but I have a lot fewer than I did before.

Mostly Craftsman sockets, though there are some Taiwanese in there, an SK or two and an Idestro as well. The first three pictures are 1/2 drive, the last are 3/8 and a 1/4 ratchet.

The impact is a MAC AW434 which I have already started de-caking the accumulated crud from. Someone painted it black at some point, but it has decided to change itself back to its original color. I've used this wrench before, it is certainly more than adequate to my needs as a weekend warrior. I just want to rehab it a bit as it has been worked in dirty environs and was not babied at all.

I just realized that the only impact sockets I have are 3/8. Guess I need to buy some 1/2 impact sockets now...
