New to the board.. nice place you've got here...
Since I'm am getting ready to start fixing up my garage I thought I should join. I've been a lurker for some time now.
I have the basic 20x21' two car garage. Our last house was new and had a three-car unit, but the wife wanted to move and loved this house.
The downside was it was built in 1962 and the garage is exposed studs with a single outlet. I have three projects right now, but since I work for a car magazine I can keep two of them at the company shop. That way my '68 Camaro gets the shop all for herself.
I just ordered 16' or 89" tall cabinets for the one wall (grey). They are 24" deep and will hang on the wall. I will also be drywalling and insulating and then running some more electrical and lights.
I just built a killer work bench, but I want to get a few Gladiator cabinets as well.
I have no idea what to do with the floor or the celling. I'm thinking VCT and a T-bar drop ceiling.
