I saw a reference to this forum on the 55 chevy forum I'm a member of, so I figured I would join.
I currently rent a space that's about 20' x 40', and I have quite a few tools that I used to take a rolling-shell '55 chevy to a running, driving, really sweet ride over a 5 year period (it's my hobby, so that's weekends and an evening here and there).
I did all the mechanical work, bought equipment and learned how to powder coat along the way and loved adding to my tool collection and learning how to do things like install air conditioning on a car that never had it in the first place (among many, many other things). I did not do the paint and bodywork, because that's outside my capability and it needed to be perfect.
I'm thinking about ways I can better organize the limited space I have available for all my tools plus the car I'm working on. I am hoping this forum will be the place to find good suggestions and tips.
