Just purchased a BendPak 4 post 9000 lb hoist. It was installed by the shop it was purchased from. The hoist works fine but I am noticing the driver side rear post (that has the controls) is tilted outward at the bottom. I removed the car, raised the hoist and tapped the leg in but it does not stay in place. The garage addition is new, the cement is new and the gap at the base of the post in question corresponds with the observable tilt in the post. I don't know if this is normal / acceptable or if I should call the installers out to adjust? My expectation is that on new flat cement the posts should not look out of whack. Without measuring, it looks to be 3 - 4 inches wider at the bottom. Opinions please.

Welcome to the Forum, congratulations on your New To You Hoist. I suggest you contact the shop that sold you the hoist and installed it in your shop; and ask them to check the hoist and address your concerns.

The floor in the original shop may not have been flat and someone may have "adjusted" the hoist to compensate; it may need to be "adjusted" again.

You're off to a good start....you have your location in your profile.

I'd suggest you spend some time in the Garage Gallery section. You will hate me later no doubt
