New guy here. New to the forum anyway. I lurked for a while prior to signing up. I have been in military aviation maintenance for 22 years and will probably retire soon. With that I have as of late become more obsessed with my tools. My dad has run USA made Craftsman for 4 decades in industrial maintenance and they used to be pretty good in the old Sears days. Today I have found them dismal at best and have ventured out.
So far my venture has been Snap-On, older USA/Craftsman, some Husky, Gearwrench, Channellock, Proto, SK and some other various junk tools.
I plan to do some part time auto mechanic work once I transition out of the military but still don't know for sure what career path I will choose. Most likely will stay in some sort of maintenance career as its what I know, love and am good at.
