Hello All,
I am a member on a number of car sites and often times people post up links that send me over here and I end up spending hours...on top of hours...on top of hours...checking out all the neat stuff found here.
The site gives me hope, that I am normal, and there are others out there like me. The creativity and pictures on this site are great and hopefully I will be able to incorporate them into my dream garage I hope to have someday.
For the time being my house has an unfinished attached small two car garage. I picked the house up from a bank for a pretty good deal, but the house was never completed by the builder so there has been lots of things to do, and the list of things left to finish never gets shorter. I am however tired of working on projects in an unfinished, cold, messy, disorganized, poor excuse for a garage.
Since moving in I have insulated the garage, built a workbench, and this past weekend/week hung sheetrock on the ceiling and walls. This weekend I am going to attempt to learn how to tape and mud the joints. Once the walls and ceiling are finished its going to get some paint and I have my eye out for some cabinets but have not seen anything yet.
I'm open for suggestions on anything. I'd like to do something with the floor, I have seen a guy on here with tile floors and they look great, but my concrete is so rough and uneven I am not sure how it would work out. Anyways, heres a few pics of it.
The bench - I thought it came out good till I started poking around on this site HA!
Newly Acquired mini-fridge. Greatly reduces indoor traffic and dirty footprints.
And these were just taken after putting up some rock.
Even with the little lighting thats in there, the white from just the sheetrock makes it so much brighter in there.
