Hey guys/gals. New to the site, this is my first post.

I'm having a pole barn built, it's about 2/3's done. So a site like this will come in handy once the contractors done and I go about doing the things I'm going to do to finish it.

New here as well. I recently had a pole barn shop built on our property and am preparing to complete the work finishing the interior. Lots of great projects and information on the GJ to use for ideas... Only limited by the imagination and the budget. Unfortunately the budget part of it gets in the way sometimes.

Welcome im new too this site also and can say there is a wealth of information here. Can you tell us your interests. Mine are vintage tools and classic cars. Anyway glad your on board.

I'm into cars, trucks, atv's, do a little hunting, try to do a lot of shooting, have a couple German Shepherds and a Lab that keep things under control, love college football....Roll Tide!

My pole barn is going to be 40x30x12. The overhead doors are going to be in the 40' side, one 10x10 in the middle and a 9x9 on each side of that. Going to put a 10k lbs. 2 post lift in down the road. Also going to build a 10x10 compressor room off the back to save space and keep the noise out of main part.

I have a '78 Camaro that I'm in the process of rebuilding. Haven't been able to do much work on it since we moved to our new house in 2014 because there's no garage here.

Our son is 16 and has started working on types of things. So the pole barn is greatly needed!
