I just joined this site today and already I find myself weraing out the search button! I own a Pier and Bream house built in 1951 that is located in Arlington Tx. Problem is that the house only has a 1 car garage!
I'm going to be adding a detatched 2 car garage to the back of the house here in the next couple months. I'm thinking a garage with a slab of 32'x24' will get the job done. I ran into a snag this morning with the city building planner and I was hoping to get some answers here. I want this to be a metal building, but the planners say the exterior has to match my existing house. My existing house has vinyl siding all the way around. Is there any way to add vinyl siding to the exterior of a metal building? I'm going to get back on the search button but so far havent come up with any examples. Thanks in advance and great site!
