I started at a new shop in January. I'm the only tech and I'm managing a fleet of about 15 vehicles, trailers, and heavy equipment along with tons of small engine, carpentry, and some plumbing.
The shop the guy had was junk. We've been looking for an upgrade but he's cheap and I like buying used deals so we took 6 months to find one.
On Monday I picked up a ts5n5 ingersoll Rand 80 gallon two stage. It's from 2001 but looks almost brand new.
I plumbed the shop with 1" PEX with two drops with 3/4" and 1/2" quick couplers, and as soon as the electrician gets here to do the 230v we'll have real air in the shop. I'm pretty pumped. My 3/4 gun, die grinder, and air hammer have been needed a few times and I've just had to make due without. No more!
