New Tool Box Find--Need Help Identifying

Hey guys, I just got back from the local flea market and picked up this really neat hand box for $8. I can't really find any much more information on it. Google is really no help. Does anyone have any information on the company? Any ideas on how old it may be?

Also, whats the best way to clean it up? I don't want to restore it. I just want it to look as clean as possible without causing any damage or alterations.

Liberty made small tool boxes and tackle boxes sold in hardware stores and the leather handle might indicate pre-WWII.
