Wow! Nice find!

Pack it up and ship it to me now - I will break it in and give you a complete report of how well it performs. Thanks.

Soooo has this box been "custom manufactured" by CSPS?
I am no mind reader, so I guess I just have to go by what they claim. If either you or wilbilt would like to donate an extra $10k so that I can get a Snap-On or Matco, then I would gladly accept it.

I know little to nothing about toolboxes, but that sure is pretty! I'd like to put it in my kitchen!
I'm sure you'll enjoy it and get alot of great use out of it.

Thanks Annette! I hope I like it as much as I think I will. I talked to the sales guy today and apparently it weighs 600 pounds EMPTY! It must be built like a tank!

Are you sure you didn't leave a ZERO off the end of the price??
That ALMOST looks too good to be true! The stainless alone is worth that much!!

Report back when it's sitting in YOUR shop; and let us know if it is everything they say it is.

The freight alone is going to cost a bundle! :shocking:

You see them for sale quite often on there. Somebody lists auctions on 'em regularly.

I wouldn't want one personally since I use 'em professionally. The 600 pound ship weight, compared to 900-1,200 for a Snappy or Matco give a little hint about the comparative build quality. That said, it's probably a great deal for a fairly serious garageaholic. I'd rather have that than a comparatively-priced Craftsman or Kobalt, I *think*. I'd have to see one in person first.

Let us know what you think. The only things I disliked about the ad on EBay were (1)I would wish for one of those banks to be full of about 10 shallow drawers for things like wrenches. You need some deep drawers, but not THAT many. (2) Is the misleading pictures. It looks taller and narrower than it really is, since they're apparently taken from waist-height wihtout anyhting in the background for reference. It looks much taller in the pics than the acutual 48 inches. That's a bit high for many uses, but it will be low enough to use as a workbench of sorts, while the pics make it look more like 6 feet high or so.

Again, let us know what you think when you get it. :)

I also thought it funny how the specs say 48" high but the pics make it look more like 5 to 6'. And yeah, 600lbs isn't that heavy for a box of that size. But it should be a nice box for anything less than daily professional use
