Well not for me but.. My four year old daugther loves tool but wants pink ones. I already order some pink tools for Christmans and she uses a drawer in my tool box already for whatever she wants. So today finishing up Christmas shopping we walk into Sears and there is this pink box, it has a few dents and over half off. My daughter is begging me please please. I have looked online at them but never seen one in person. They are not bad little box's, decent casters and ball bearing drawers. My wife is rolling her eyes at me. I told her lots of people put them in kids rooms to store toys or cloths. She thinks I am nuts and almost laughing. So now she has a pink tool box to store her barbie's in. But then she said I need more tools, the barbies go in this drawer and I want tools in this drawer. It was a good dad moment. I figured the box would out last any toy we buy for the next 10 years.

I think Mom needs to kick in with "Mechanic Barbie" All it tales is the right clothes, and some Sharpie marker for grease stains on hands and face...

corvette owner and great dad = good guy in my book!

This is about the neatest story I have read in a long time. You're a lucky dad and she is lucky to have you for her dad. Does she enjoy riding in your Corvette with you also?

What kind of red Corvette do you drive? My wife had an anniversary red 50th anniversary convertible, but we traded it on a new Grand Sport for her a couple of months ago.

Good deal. You've accomplished two things:

1.) Giving your daughter a good start and a nice tool box!

AND

2.) Giving us all a picture to tease you with when she heads off to college.

The grow up so fast, don't they?

I was looking at these myself at the local sears. The company who makes that box is actually very awesome. I have talked to them numerous times about there Viper box's, and great guys to deal with! Our little girl is only 3 months old, but daddy is already eyeing these boxes!

Well found a white one that match's the pink one. Sears had a clearance on it paid $200. Big sister helped me put together the white one..It was a joy of watching her use a ratchet to tighten all the bolts up. The oldest has several Pink tools and loves helping me... Make's me proud!

Very cool. Seems like yesterday my two daughters were that age, but now they are 27 and 29. Time sure flies by when you're having a good time. These will create memories for a life time.

I had to google that... Good idea for Grandpa!

Glad I could help! I also could swear that a few years back, there was a mechanic barbie, or engineer barbie along the same lines...

I don't have a son or daughter (yet), but when I do, I hope they are as driven as your's and SweetD's above, no matter what their interests may be!
