New Tool Box

I have been wanting to get a new tool box to replace my crappy craftsman one for awhile. I wanted a snapon roll cab that i could eventually add a top box to and side lockers or whatever

So i had my snap on guy looking out for one, it had to be either red or maroon, I went to pay him on friday, he said come by tomorrow morning i got something for you to see, so i went over and checked it out and had it delivered about an hour later.

Before i had a standard tall craftsman, all these tools where in there. My new box is pretty full now, (i still need to get some different wrench and socket racks)

If you have never touched a snapon box, they are the best, this ones' rated to hold 6200lbs of tools. My main reason for getting it was security, i needed something to fit everything in and be able to lock it. (And plus it looks really cool.) If just my top drawer in this box was stolen i would have already have paid for the box, so i see it as a investment in security.

Anyways, here's the pics, 99% of tools are snapon

Sweet!!!
That's an awsome box. I just got one too a few weeks ago. I assume it's a used box? Your Snap-on guy will find you used boxes? You have to get the Stainless steel draw caps now, they look great!

Greg,
I have the same box - paid 4500 for it. Check it out ;)

You’re Snap-On guy stops at the house? How did you arrange that? Well at least I’m not that bad….. Yet…. LOL

Supposedly, the box was used for only 3 months and in storage for 6 months. Apparently a young kid at a garage ordered it and left – then couldn’t pay for it. I don’t know if it’s true, but it certainly looks possible. Even the draw liners were pretty clean. It came with the liners, SS top, Cover and Draw cap covers. I just LOVE the box ;)

I stop at my snapon guys's house. I paid $2500 for mine.(well i am paying for the next 2 years $20 a week)

He has lots of used boxes because everybody wants to trade in a year or two old box on a new or bigger one. And he also has lots of repo's

I am also looking at getting the stainless drawer covers, the top of my drawers are scratched so im hoping they will cover it up.

Not Bad :)

I told him i do most of my work outta my home garage and keep my tools at home, so Yea he stops at the house, the key to that one is owing him money. I always try to keep around a $ 200 balance, that way he never forgets to stop to collect his $ 20-30 a week. Instead of eating out as often as i did, i now blow the $ 30 i would spend on breakfast over the course of a week on tools and just eat breakfast at home. ;)
