My son and I was in Murdoch's looking about. I spied their new tool box line for $800.00 a set and thought I would share. The fit and finish is nice. Paint seems to bring Kennedy to mind. Drawers do not wiggle like the Menards box's, nore does the sides and bottom of drawers flex like Menards box's.

The net weights seem light for boxes that size...

Do the drawer bottoms "oilcan"?

He means that that bottom of the drawer can flex enough to pop like and old school oil can.

What is this "oil can" you speek of?

He means that that bottom of the drawer can flex enough to pop like and old school oil can.

Not so much pop, but flex a lot, and in some cases, actually drag on the drawer front below it under load... The move to ultra thin materials is more than just a box being able to hold up over time.

Outlaw, Not that I could make it do. It really surprised me compared to Sears, Home Depot, K-Mart and Menards in town.

Did you get to check out the 72" one for $1499 (usually on sale for $1199)? I thought it was alright. Not great but not complete junk.

I bought a smaller Tactix box at Sears Outlet a few weeks ago, keep it in the truck.

It is a decent box, not sure where they are made though.
