Last weekend at an estate sale in luling, tx i bought a 1 ton budgit M896 chain fall for 10 bucks and a mint condition Blackhawk 6 drawer top tool chest for 30 bucks. The blackhawk (made in new britain, conn.) box had the original keys with it and it was locked. I handed over my 30 bucks then tried to load it in the truck but it weighed so much i couldnt lift it. Opened it up and it was loaded to the brim with all plvmb tools in varying condition, with the exception of a large indestro puller. Also buried under a bunch of small plvmb dbe wrenches was a plomb WF-41 cadmium 1/2" universal joint, is it rare? One the way home i found a ridgid 24" pipe wrench on the side of fm672. Was a good day for tool huntin. Ill post pictures when i get done plowing tonight

I love your 4th post it reminds me of a story I heard in urban legends it went something like this: on a trip I found an old box and inside it was filled with all gold coins, but one gold coin looked funny it said brasher Doubloon marked 1787 is it rare? Oh and on the way home I watched a meteorite shower and a big hunk (museum quality) fell in front of my car, It must be my lucky day!

Great story we will love your pictures:thumbup::thumbup:

Anxiously awaiting the pics, I can live vicariously through you, as my estate/yard sale Sunday wasn't as nice. For me, NOTHING is more exciting than buying a box of old tools and not opening it up until I get home :) It feels like Christmas!

PlVMB is one of my favorites, can't wait for the pics! I'm happy for you.
