I picked up a few things over the past couple days. I love the garage/yard sale season!

Going to refinish this:

I am also going to strip and repaint these to match the cabinet above:

Also might make this a Flammables cabinet:

What do you think?

Cabinet turned out real nice.

To clean the Cman wrenches some Bar Keepers Friend and a ScotchBright pad rinsed with hot water. BKF can be found in the grocery stores beside the Cleanser (Comet and Ajax).

Credit to Elroy on the BKF tip.

The first pic is a trash can that (It hink) is typically used for oily/combustable shop rags and trash. There are a few threads on here of some that have been refurbished very nicely.

If'n you want a few ideas on paintin' that rag can, check out the thread called, "Battle of the Killer Cans."

I'm on an iPad and I have't figured out how to copy a URL. If you to Free Parking and search out Battle Killer Cans, you should find it.

Then you can watch us paint up some clocks, too.

What are the dimensions of the cabinet? How deep are the drawers?

So here is the finished look for the outside of the box:

Going to line the drawers with the mesh non slip stuff that is laying on top.

Here is what the inside of the drawers look like right now:

I am going to drill out the spot rivets that hold in that middle divider in most of the drawers so that I have more area to work with.

Anyone have any idea for something to do with the 'liners' that came with the cabinet? They were originally so that you could take the entire record of microfilm out of the cabinet. I have no idea what to do with them, I am going to keep 4 or 6 of them, but probably scrap the rest unless I come up with something.

Thanks,
Matt
