March started off with another shpping spree, this time a tool cart. I really wanted a Snap On one but with shipping prices being triple that of the box I had to get one locally that I don't really know who makes it. Added a couple of Snap On stickers to it to make it look better (ha ha)

The top compartment is for my metric sockets in all 3 drives, spark plug sockets, impacts, torx and hex sockets. The first drawer is full of test equipment like vacuum gauges, compression gauges, multi meter and other toys. Second drawer is full of air tools.

I'll try to get pics of the contents of the drawers

One last problem, my main boxes have a couple of empty drawers crying to be filled.

It is a nice tool cart....Personally I am a big fan of the rolling tool trays
Just out of curiosity:
Why is it any time someone posts something, you have to tell them how you prefer something totally different?

Looks like a HF mover's dolly, a pipe, two flanges and a COSTCO cookie sheet.
Am I close? ;)
No, you're not close... you're SPOT ON!

And it actually holds weight pretty well... I have put plenty of **** on it without it. And with the offset pipe support, I can actually have the tray in the engine bay with me.

I have one of those 3-castered Snap-On rolling stands that originally held an AVR tester. It has a very small tray on top, and I have been thinking putting something larger on it.

My wife likes her baking sheets, though...and I would be a dead man if one went AWOL...

Looks handy. Hospitals use a similar tray for serving meals while patients are in bed. Heavy duty with mutiple adjustments. I have wondered how I could get one out without someone noticing.

Hahah, we actualy have one of those in our electronic shop. My dad got it years ago when he was in the TV repair business. It will hold a 27 inch CRT television, without budging. I have no idea how he got it.

Over in Michigan, we have a commercial food store called Gordon Food Service. They mainly sell to restaurants and institutional kitchens. That is where I found the tray... for under $10! And it's made in the USA!!!!

The above tool cart is $20 cheaper in The Sportsmans Guide "Amazing Deals" section. It looks pretty good!

Contact a hospital's maintenance dept. Inquire what they do to dispose of their old/broken equipment. I got a table like yours for $5.

your cart looks really good, Snap-on doesnt even make their own carts (im pretty sure) so you are better off anyway, the only reason i got my blue point one drewer cart is because my dealer gave me almost $100 (50%!) off because the powder coat flaked a little bit during shipping, so i jumped on it

Very nice. They made something like that on Two Guys Garage at one point. I actually have that episode recorded. They used two telescoping pipes so the height can be adjusted. And of course, they had to do everything in metal so they could show off their MIG. What's supporting the tray in yours? Is their a piece of plywood under there?

Actually there is a 2x4 (I think that's what I used) "spine" supporting the tray underneath.
